Since engineered quartz is a combination of natural quartz and soil-repellent polymers, the surface is especially level, pore free, very hygienic, easy to clean and very easy to maintain.
This applies in the same way to ceramic fine porcelain, which is extremely densified by a treatment before the sintering. The surfaces thus finished needs no protective treatment in the form of an impregnation. Matte Quartz and natural stone surfaces have a natural porosity and have a slightly absorbing effect. Therefore, the finished surface will receive an impregnation after production. All OBJECT STONE worktops are resistant to impact, breakage and scratching, are to a large extent acid-resistant and resistant to short-term exposure to heat.
